With our new software upgrade comes our new blog feature. We are very excited about having the ability to blog with our customers and clients. We regularly receive great comments, suggestions and requests from our site visitors. Now we will be able to share these with everyone.

Anyone who has ever build a ecommerce website knows how much work goes into it. We opened the FootageWorks website in December 2005 as a test to see how valid a online digital stock footage media content agency could serve it's existing customer base. FootageWorks had been in business since 1988 under our original name of  "Citicopters News Service" and serving our broadcast television production and film production customers the old fashioned way by making videotape screeners and filling tape to tape dubbing orders. With the FootageWorks website and the best in it's class digital asset management software by Lightbox Photo, we opened for online business with great results and response. We have now begun our first major site upgrade in four years. There is much work involved. We moved a lot of media around and created a labor monster for ourselves in an effort to improve all aspects of the website. But. it will be well worth it for you, our valued customers.
